In the next lesson we will start to use the present tense (what's happening) so here we will very briefly touch on the subject which we will work much more on in Chapter 4

To say what is happening  you use -iyor and although not completely correct for now you could  think of -iyor as our English ending -ing

An example

I am coming

The stem word for come as you now is gel to turn this into I am coming you take the stem word then add iyor and lastly you add the relevant ending which in this case is um for I am

Geliyorum

We are now coming to the end of Chapter 3 so we will close by finishing off the conversation at the restaurant.  Once again we will leave some empty spaces for you to fill in.
