If a personal pronoun is the direct object of a verb, you need to give it an -i ending as personal pronouns stand for specific things.

The typing mistake

So lets work through the different endings of peronal pronouns, where we will highlight anything that is different from what you might expect

The -i ending

ben	sen	o	biz	siz	onlar
beni	seni	onu	bizi	sizi	onları

The ending -e

ben	sen	o	biz	siz	onlar
bana	sana	ona	bize	size	onlara

The ending - de

ben	sen	o	biz	siz	onlar
bende	sende	onda	bizde	sizde	onlarda

Lastly the ending -den

ben	sen	o	biz	siz	onlar
benden	senden	ondan	bizden	sizden	onlardan

So there you go, no typing error, when adding the ending  -e to ben and sen the ending changes to bana and sana. 

Another difference is when you add endings to o you need to add the letter -n between the o and the ending. 

With the i and e endings you can accept that the n is acting as a buffer, but  you need to add it to the de and den ending also.

to (verbs)

cough!      öksüruk!                to cough           öksürükmek

bekle!       wait!                      to wait              beklemek

al!            buy or take!            to buy or take   almak

so to is the ending -mek added to the stem word.  The ending -mek follows the e type vowel harmony.
